CheCam User Guide

Just set your smartphone. Check your ideal form on the spot.

1. Basic Usage (Normal Mode)

A mode where you can "continuously check your form without touching your smartphone, just by pressing the record button once."

Camera Setup

When you launch the app, the current video will appear in a small window. Secure your smartphone so your whole body fits in the frame.

Start Recording

Tap the screen and press the "▶︎ (Record/REC) button" to start.

Form Check (Delayed Playback)

By default, playback will begin on the large screen after "5 seconds". Try taking a practice swing first.

Concentrate on Practice

Just repeat "Hit ➔ Look at the screen" without touching your smartphone. The green part of the pie chart indicates the current recording timing.

Stop Recording

Tap the screen and press the "Pause button" to finish.

2. New Feature: AI Mode (Auto Detection)

AI automatically detects your swing and records/plays back only the necessary parts.

Switch Modes

Tap the Golf Swing icon on the screen to switch to "AI Mode".

Change Swing Type

Long press the AI mode icon to change the type of swing you want to detect. The following 4 modes are supported:

  • Golf Swing
  • Baseball Batting
  • Baseball Pitching
  • Tennis Serve

Swing Detection

Just take your stance and swing as usual. The AI will automatically detect your movements.

Auto Record & Playback

Slow-motion playback will start automatically right after detection. No operation is required.

About the Trial Limit:
The free version can be used up to 3 times a day. After that, it will automatically return to Normal Mode.

3. Detailed Settings (Gear Icon)

Delay Time Setting (5s - 999s)

Adjust the time until the video plays. 10-15 seconds for golf practice, and 5-10 seconds for tennis is recommended.

Slow Motion Playback (0.2x - 1.0x Speed)

Effective for checking fine body movements, such as the moment of impact.

Camera Switch

Switch between the front and rear cameras. The front camera is convenient when you want to practice while looking at yourself.
Landscape recording is also available in Normal Mode. AI Mode is fixed to portrait recording.

4. Saving Videos

Check History

From the "Archive" button at the bottom right, you can display a list of your recording history and preview them.

Save to Camera Roll

Select the videos you need and press the "Save" button to save them to your Photos app.

Point: Data will be automatically deleted unless you Save it, so it won't take up storage space.
